"The Thread of the Supply Chain: Synergies and Added Value to Compete in the Global Market"

At the opening ceremony of the 65th edition of FILO Exhibition, the supply chain theme was the focus of discussion between businesses and institutions. Marco Bortolini, our CEO of Filati Di.Vè and Vice President of the Biella Industrial Union, emphasized the strength of the Biella model, founded on quality, integration, and expertise. He emphasized the importance of investing in young people, innovating without losing tradition, and strengthening collaborations between districts to compete in global markets.Alongside him, Dario Casalini, president and founder of Slow Fiber - of which we are a proud partner - expressed an ethical and cultural vision of textiles: an invitation to promote transparent, durable, and responsible products, educating end customers about the value of "well-made."

Institutional speakers included Paolo Monfermoso, Head of Filo; Pier Francesco Corcione, General Manager of the Biella Industrial Union; Elena Chiorino, Vice President of the Piedmont Region; Matteo Masini, ICE – Italian Trade Agency; and Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, with a video message, reiterated the strategic role of exports, sustainability, and innovation. This openness confirms a simple truth: the future of Italian textiles stems from a united, informed supply chain capable of expressing its value.
